We were traveling with a 1.5 year old. I think she did an awesome job on the plane. We slept both ways. I will tell you that we missed the first flight because we were not prepared to be at the airport 3 hours prior to departure. We arrived exactly 2 hours before departure. It took us forever to get through Atlanta TSA security. We actually arrived at the gate during boarding time but the gate attendant would not allow us to board. They want people to get to the gate 30 minutes prior to boarding. We were flying Delta Airlines and they were able to get all of us on the next flight.
I am also going to tell you that I believe it was a long process for my little one. We both slept on the flights there and back.
I have to say Colorado was beautiful. The mountains and the views were very nice. We stayed at the Hilton suites that was downtown and across the street from the outside mall. We did not have to drive anywhere. We walked and rode the little mall shuttle. We did get a car to drive up to the mountains. The views were lovely. You can see pictures on my Instagram that I posted of the trip. This trip was relaxing and a nice place to visit if you just want to get away from home. The plane tickets for round trip for all of us cost almost $600. This was not a bad spend. I went on Hotwire to get the room for a good rate. I love Hilton hotels.
