My daughter started holding on to things and walking from about 11 months. I was sure she would start walking by the time she was one. She had a birthday party and she was still crawling and holding on to things to get around.
About a week after her birthday, I started to practice with her in front of the mirror. I would hold her up and tell her to walk towards the mirror. She would talk a couple of steps and then fall. ( I would have posted these videos but I really wasn’t dressed. When I can figure out how to blur me out, then I will add the video. )
So, once she got the hang of walking, I took my daughter to my mother’s house. She was eager to show them what she had learned. Sometimes babies need practice.
