Ingredients:

  • 2 skin-on trout filets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (squeeze 1 lemon)
  • 3 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • Dry seasoning:
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 400 degrees
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sprinkle fish with the dry seasoning.
  4. Melt butter with olive oil.
  5. Cook trout filets, skin side down, for 2 minutes, then carefully flip with a thin wide spatula.
  6. Then add garlic, parsley (optional), and lemon juice.
  7. Cook for another 1 minute.
  8. Then put in oven for 5 minutes.
  9. Transfer to serving plates and enjoy.

Tips:

  • Wash hands before cooking.
  • Wash hands every time you touch the raw fish.
