I was sure she would start walking by the time she was one.\u00a0 She had a birthday party and she was still crawling and holding on to things to get around.<\/p>\n<p>About a week after her birthday, I started to practice with her in front of the mirror. I would hold her up and tell her to walk towards the mirror.\u00a0 She would talk a couple of steps and then fall. ( I would have posted these videos but I really wasn\u2019t dressed.\u00a0 When I can figure out how to blur me out, then I will add the video. )<\/p>\n<p>So, once she got the hang of walking, I took my daughter to my mother\u2019s house. She was eager to show them what she had learned.
