Cook for about 1-2 minutes more.

Add the ground turkey. Add soy sauce (1/2 teaspoon) for the color.

Add seasonings, about a teaspoon each. Cook and stir the ground turkey for about 5-6 minutes until meat is fully cooked. There should not be any pink left.

Add can tomatoes, can tomato sauce, jar of tomato sauce, and ½ can of the tomato paste.

Stir and let cook down for about 5 minutes. Once the sauce starts boiling, turn the stove down to low.

Add the sugar (2 tablespoons) and stir. If you like you can add more Italian seasoning (about 1 teaspoon).

Let the sauce cook on low for about 20 minutes.

After the 20 minutes, taste and see if you should add more seasoning. If not, the sauce is ready to serve.

Note: If you are using ground beef.
