I know it has been a long while since I wrote on this blog. Well in the month a May, my family took a trip to Colorado during Mother\u2019s Day weekend.\u00a0 It was very beautiful.\u00a0 We were traveling with a 1.5 year old.\u00a0 I think she did an awesome job on the plane.\u00a0 We slept both ways. I will tell you that we missed the first flight because we were not prepared to be at the airport 3 hours prior to departure.\u00a0 We arrived exactly 2 hours before departure.\u00a0 It took us forever to get through Atlanta TSA security.\u00a0 We actually arrived at the gate during boarding time but the gate attendant would not allow us to board.\u00a0 They want people to get to the gate 30 minutes prior to boarding.\u00a0 We were flying Delta Airlines and they were able to get all of us on the next flight.<\/p>\n
I am also going to tell you that I believe it was a long process for my little one. We both slept on the flights there and back.<\/p>\n
I have to say Colorado was beautiful. The mountains and the views were very nice.\u00a0 We stayed at the Hilton suites that was downtown and across the street from the outside mall.\u00a0 We did not have to drive anywhere.\u00a0 We walked and rode the little mall shuttle.\u00a0 We did get a car to drive up to the mountains.\u00a0 The views were lovely.\u00a0 You can see pictures on my Instagram that I posted of the trip.\u00a0 This trip was relaxing and a nice place to visit if you just want to get away from home.\u00a0 The plane tickets for round trip for all of us cost almost $600.\u00a0 This was not a bad spend.\u00a0 I went on Hotwire to get the room for a good rate.\u00a0 I love Hilton hotels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
